How do I benefit from this?

Most people don't achieve the recommended nutrition and antioxidant amounts they need on a daily basis. The USDA recommends 4-6 servings of vegetables every single day. The most ideal way is to eat them raw which is likely difficult to do. Our Freeze-Dried Microgreen Powder makes this goal simple and easy as it is just 2 teaspoons that can be added to any food or drink and its shelf stable for up to 2 years.

Why should I care about antioxidants?

Our original blend of broccoli, mustard, bok choy and red cabbage microgreens contain many antioxidants but sulforaphane is the star of the show. It has been clinically proven to fight cancer and doctors and nutritionists have been recommending cancer patients to add broccoli to their diet. Broccoli microgreens have 20x the amount of sulforaphane compared to adult broccoli. However, sulforaphane has many other benefits beyond this and can be considered the "multivitamin of antioxidants".

What's covered in each serving?

We have selected broccoli sprouts and mustard, broccoli, bok choy and red cabbage microgreens specifically to provide a broad range of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. All microgreens and sprouts are packed with concentrated nutrients, and are a great source of polyphenols and bioactive compounds which have antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. Sulforaphane is a particularly effective compound and has been shown to provide tremendous benefits. Microgreens contain 10-20x the amount of these benefits than the same quantity of their mature counterpart vegetables. Broccoli sprouts contain up to 100x the amount of sulforaphane as compared to adult broccoli.

How are our microgreens produced?

We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, growing, harvesting and freeze drying our sprouts and microgreens ourselves. Thank you for supporting our small business.

How do I use freeze-dried microgreens?

These microgreens have been turned into a fine powder that can be easily mixed into any food or drink such as juices, smoothies, dressings, sauces or even just water. Just make sure not to add it to anything over 120F to preserve nutrition. Check out this blog article for some recipe ideas.

How are the microgreens grown?

We grow these sprouts and microgreens indoors in a temperature-controlled environment without any pesticides or chemicals. The whole process only takes about a week or so.

Why Freeze-Drying?

Freeze-drying fresh microgreens makes them shelf stable; no longer requiring refrigeration while preserving 95%+ of the original nutrition. Freeze-drying also increases the bio-availability of the nutrition as the process of freezing ruptures cell walls in plants, allowing nutrients and antioxidants to be more easily absorbed.
